- What is a ductless system? Similar to a traditional residential split system, a ductless system consists of 2 components – the outdoor condensing unit, and an indoor air handler. As the name suggests, the key difference is – NO DUCTWORK! The latest inverter technology provides the ability to maintain optimal conditions inside your home without the high energy consumption.
- Why ductless? In areas of the home where window A/C units or baseboard heat would typically be considered, ductless systems are more economical and comfortable options. Many of the ductless offerings are in excess of 20 SEER, far above and beyond traditional split systems. These are ideal in new spaces such as room additions, or as supplemental heating/cooling for existing spaces in your home.
- Single Zone or Multi-Zone? Single Zone systems condition one or two rooms, while Multi Zone offerings provide independent comfort for up to eight separate rooms on one outdoor condensing unit.
